February 2023
Dead & Co. has announced their final tour as a band, and their last stop in Boston will be at Fenway Park this summer. On June 24, 2023 immediately after the Dead & Co. show, Bearly Dead will take the stage at House of Blues Boston (directly across the street). This is the second time Bearly Dead has had the privilege of playing at House of Blues Boston for a Dead & Co afterparty, and a fitting farewell to the final incarnation of the band that started it all.
January 2023
On January 4, 2023, Bearly Dead announced their “Can’t Come Down” tour! This is the band’s second tour, and will include stops in Hartford, Wilkes-Barre, Baltimore, Richmond, Asheville, Charleston, and Raleigh.
June 2022
In June 2022, Bearly Dead announced their debut west coast tour! It’s called the “Up To Paradise Tour”, and will take place October 5-15, 2022, from Seattle, WA (5th) to Redwood City, CA (15th) with stops in Portland (6th), Bend (7th), Eugene (8th), Arcata (12th), Novato (13th), and Redding, CA (14th). On August 1, 2018, Jerry Garcia’s guitar “Wolf” made its way to Bearly Dead’s weekly residency at Thunder Road in Somerville. Guitarists Milt Reder and Nick Swift both had the opportunity to play the guitar. To read the WBUR article, click here.

July 2018
Bearly Dead was honored to play at the MLB’s Grateful Dead Tribute Night this year on Jersey St., just outside of Fenway Park! A stage was built right into the sidewalk and the band performed for thousands of people.

On Father’s Day, Bearly Dead performed at The Sinclair as part of the Rock and Roll Playhouse (RRPH) series. RRPH is a show for kids that is put on at over 20 different venues across the country. The events are on select Sunday mornings and are only an hour long. Perfect for the entire family to see live music without the rowdiness that comes with the night life.

On July 19, 2017, Michael Campbell of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers attended one of Bearly Dead’s regular Wednesday night residency’s at Thunder Road in Somerville. He sat in with the band for two songs. Turns out Michael Campbell loves the Dead and wanted to catch a local show before playing TD Garden the next night. That was the last time Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers ever performed in Boston, and this was one of the best nights in Thunder Road and Bearly Dead history.
